Hi there. My four year old chihuahua mix had an anal gland rupture. And the vet went in to do surgery and drain it out. What strikes me as odd, is the vet inserted a rubber tube for drainage that is to be taken out in four days. I’ve read plenty articles and none say anything about a tube being put in place. Is this normal? What can I do to make my little guy more comfortable? Should I seek medical marijuana for pets so he can relax? He’s so antsy! I mean there’s a tube coming out his behind.
