My dog has an anal gland infection. What can I give for her pain?

Pet's info: Dog | Italian Greyhound | Female | spayed

My dog has gotten her anal glands emptied but one has Reuter’s causing an infection. What can I use as an antibiotic and pain med until I can afford her meds that the vet perscribed. I can’t buy them til next week. Anything would help as she’s very uncomfortable

There are no OTC pain medications you can give Meeka. Many human ones are toxic to dogs, and can be fatal if given. Antibiotics are prescription only. The only way to get these medications is to have her seen by a vet.
