Can I use Advantage II and Seresto collar on my extra large dog together?

Yes a Seresto collar and Nexgard can be used together, however both Nexgard and Seresto are highly effective against fleas and ticks and therefore it is not necessary to double up. You can just as effectively use either on its own.

I would advise against this. Advocate is fairly complete except tick prevention. If you have concerns about ticks, I recommend to switch to something like Simparica and Intercepor or you can use a collar specifically for ticks called a Preventic collar. It is ok to use Seresto along with other topical products, just not oral ones. In some pets there can be a little skin irritation, so watch out for that and notify your vet if this happens. Otherwise, you should be fine to go ahead with Seresto to see if this does the trick. I would also recommend using a flea fogger to treat your home, which can be found at your local Home Depot or Lowe's. If you still don't have good results with the Seresto collar, then I would wait at least 2 weeks and consider better products such as Simparica or Nexgard. You could use both if you wanted to, as these two products work in different ways and do not have any harmful interactions. But, using both would be unnecessary - they both cover fleas and ticks. Because of this, I would recommend using one or other other, rather than both.

It is certainly not too much to use a Seresto collar with Sentinel! In my experience, Sentinel alone is not sufficient for proper flea control, but is great for heartworm and intestinal parasite prevention. The Seresto collar will prevent ticks and fleas, which is quite important. To answer your question, yes, use both! :-)

I wouldn’t recommend using a topical flea medication at the same time as a seresto collar. Also remember Swresto doesn’t prevent heart worms which Revolution does so you would need to get a different heart worm prevention as well.

The Seresto collar works by using a slow, continuous release of medication onto the skin and fur - so as soon as you remove it, the level of medication on Prada's skin will immediately start to drop. The active ingredient (imidicloprid) also has a very high margin of safety in dogs, so it should be fine to go ahead and apply Advantage the same day that you remove the collar.
