One of my 6 month old stray puppy has this wound. The place where it lives isn't that hygienic. What should I do?

Hi, sorry to hear about Fluffy's wound.First, clip the hair around the wound until you can see it well and there's no hair to get stuck in it. It needs to be flushed out and cleaned with a diluted betadine solution about three times a day. Start out with a warm compress of warm water and a cloth holding it over the affected area for about 5 minutes. Gently massage it to get any pus out. Then wipe it with the betadine, the squirt the solution into the wound. if it does not improve in 3-4 days you should take him to a vet. Also, you can purchase a cone collar to go around his neck so he cannot lick the area. If you can't do that, you can try a small t shirt that covers the wound but still lets air in. Good luck, I hope this helps!
