Should I use Canine Spectra 6-in-1 for my puppy's first shots?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 30 days old

Is the Canine Spectra 6 in 1 shot okay to use? I have an eight week old beagle that I got yesterday. He hasn’t had any shots yet and was wondering if that product is recommended and safe to use?

I personally do not recommend giving vaccines yourself at home. Owners frequently give them wrong, and places where you buy them, like Tractor Supply, often store the vaccine incorrectly, rendering them ineffective. I cannot tell you how many pets I've seen come down with parvo and distemper who have been vaccinated at home. Bandit's health is up most importance, so I would have him vaccinated by a vet. Best of luck.
