What food is best for my 6-week Doberman puppy with soft poop?

23 days is very young for a pup to be away from its mother, it really should be on milk and just starting to wean. If yiu have it you will have to get a good quality food for young puppies such as royal canin or Hills stater mousse. You could mix soft puppy food with dog milk formula if you ate reallly stuck.

Raw diets are really not recommended. There is an extremely high chance he could get salmonella or E. coli poisoning just like if we ate raw meat. Despite what TV commercials would lead you to believe, your dog is not a wolf. Dogs have been domesticated a very long time now and their GI tracts have evolved to reflect that. If you want to feed a homemade diet you can do that but the food must be cooked an you need to have a veterinary nutritionist formulate the diet so that is properly balanced with all the vitamins and minerals a dog needs - especially a large breed puppy. I just recommend you feed him a large breed puppy food that is already formulated with everything he needs. A premium brand (not boutique) that is within your budget. Brands of food I like include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I know Royal Canin is available in India, so I highly recommend their puppy food. I do not recommend home diets, it's so hard to get the correct balance. It is safe to take the water out, though usually that does not cause soft stool. Having a small kibble can help a lot for small dogs if needed. My concern is that perhaps they have worms or something else going on? Try a good puppy Dewormer like sentry or Bayer Quad Dewormer (PetCo). Use one that is labeled for their weight and follow the package directions. Deworm everyone at the same time. And unless they are smaller than 3 lbs, it is fine to move to twice daily feedings. If it ever becomes consistent diarrhea, have her evaluated by a veterinarian before her scheduled appointment. Keep in mind that it may be best to continue the formula until she is 6 weeks old. Soft poops in dogs can be caused by intestinal worms, which are common in puppies. I would take take Tyson into the vet along with a fecal sample. The vet can confirm he does have worms and can give him a deworming treatment such as Drontal. I would take him into the vet either today or this weekend. As for the beef mince, it's not needed in his diet. Royal Canin is an excellent food, and it will provide all the nutrients he needs to grow and be healthy. Adding the mince is adding extra calories he doesn't need, it's also fatty and too fatty foods can lead to pancreatitis. I would avoid giving that to him. At 6 weeks old, your pet should be well on puppy food with no milk. You should go ahead and go forward with Royal Canin regular puppy large breed food with no additives. If Arjun happens to be having a hard time eating the kibble, then you can certainly add in some canned food at this point, but most puppies this age can no longer digest milk or cerelac, so it should not be given to them anymore. If your puppy just seems to not like Royal Canin anymore, then some other suggested brands are Hill's Science Diet, Eukanuba, or Purina. The amount to feed should be based on the guideline on the back of the bag, but it isn't a perfect science. Pay attention to your pet and feed less than what is recommended if he seems to be leaving a good amount still in the bowl. A good rule of thumb here is that whatever is suggested on the bag is likely going to be an over-estimate of the amount of food he will likely consume. To help with the loose stools, you should add in a probiotic such as Fortiflora or over the counter Culturelle for the next 7-14 days.
