I am sorry to hear about Bongo! A basket muzzle does allow for drinking but they cannot eat with it on. Try feeding him in a closed room to prevent anyone bothering him (and getting hurt). I would recommend a plastic basket muzzle instead of metal to prevent injury. Much more important, is to get Bongo on some anti-anxiety medication. This can be LIFE-CHANGING and I have so many great success stories. There are many great medications available with little side effects that are safe for daily use. My personal favorite is Trazadone but there are several great choices. Do yourself (and Bongo) a huge favor and talk to your vet about your options. Parvo causes extreme damage to the GI tract. It can take several weeks for it to repair and heal and start being able to absorb all the water needed to make firmer stools. As long as it isn't regressing into watery diarrhea, I wouldn't be concerned. Adding in probiotics may help recovery a little.

Muzzles are tricky to fit depending on the size of the head and length of the nose. If you are able I would take her to PetCo and try on several types to see which fits best. If she’s going to wear it a lot I prefer a plastic cage type muzzle so they can open their mouth to pant if needed. This is a safe, painfree muzzle for a short time. I only use a muzzle like this for a few minutes when needed to do a precedure. If it's tight and the dog is very excited it may restrict their breathing which could be serious. If you need a muzzle for a longer period of time I recommend a plastic cage type muzzle as they can open their mouth and breath better and you can give them tiny treats when they are wearing it. Usually getting them used to it for very short periods of time, and having help holding Bruno when you put it on will prevent a fight and reduce the chance of injury to both you and him. Obedience training will improve his behavior and perhaps then you won't need a muzzle. Hopefully Bruno isn't hurt after he fell. If he is I recommend a veterinary exam.
