We just adopted a lab/ retriever from the shelter. She has been with us for about 3-4 weeks now. She is adjusting really well. Until yesterday, she nuzzled a big hole in the wall. She has our other dog with her. Is it separation anxiety or boredom? should we crate her?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry to hear Rev has been having some behavior issues. Does this only happen when you are gone? If so, it may be separation or some other anxiety-based issue. Does Rev have free roam of the house when you are gone? If so, it may be beneficial to start training her to a crate, or confining her with baby gates, etc to a specific area of the house while you are gone. This can become a "safe" space for her, as well as protecting her from being able to get into things that she shouldn't. Good luck!
