He would need vaccines starting between 6-8 weeks until 16 weeks. Vaccines are given every 4 weeks. Core vaccines include FVRCP (feline distemper combination) and Rabies (given at 12 weeks or later). Multiple dewormings are also recommended as is a FeLV/FIV test. If he is to be an outdoor cat, two FeLV vaccines given four weeks apart would be recommended.
Costs vary by geographic location and by clinic. You can request an estimate for services. Most clinics will provide one as a matter of hospital policy.

This does depend on your location. Your best option is to call some local clinics to find out costs. You may also check if there are any vaccine clinics offered by the humane society. In general indoor cats need a rabies vaccine and an FVRCP vaccine. If Tess did not go through her kitten vaccine boosters appropriately, she will need a booster for the FVRCP. So that is three vaccines total. Vaccine clinics may or may not charge an office visit. Private clinics will charge an office visit but new clients may be able to find a free exam coupon if one is offered. Rabies vaccines are around $25 and FVRCP is around $30 but again, this is variable depending on where you live.
