What shots does a stray cat need before coming indoors with my cat?

Hi, if you have a stray, you definitely want to get him spayed or neutered and vaccinated. The best thing to do is find a low cost spay/neuter clinic in your area or a trap neuter return clinic who deals with strays. That will be the least expensive route. He should get his Rabies, FVRCP (feline distemper), and possibly the FELV (feline leukemia) vaccine. That's three that cats usually get. The cost will vary depending on where you take him.
