Why is my unneutered male cat peeing weird, yowling, and less cuddly?

From the behaviours you are describing it sounds very likely linked to the fact that Manny isn't neutered yet. He is reaching sexual maturity and the hormones in his body are alerting his behaviour. After he is neutered it will take a little time but these behaviours should diminish. Snupe could be yeowling because he wants to go roaming for females with which to mate, and he may be marking his territory with urine. I'd have him seen by a vet for this problem, and get him neutered.

I'm not sure how old Carolus is, but unfortunately it's very common to see this kind of behavior change in unneutered males once they reach social maturity - he is probably out looking for females to mate with, or fighting with other male cats, as both of these are more important to him right now than anything else. I would strongly recommend having him neutered when you are able to - this should curb his tendency to roam and not come home, and will make him a much better pet overall :)

It is not likely because of a female in heat. What you describe sounds more like he is running away from an itch or pain. Some cats act like that when they have fleas. If you are not doing flea prevention, it may be a good idea to do so. You may also want to check if there are any painful areas on his body (especially where he licks himself). Also check for flea poop (part the hair in the area near the base of the tail on his back and abdomen for little black specs). If you find little black specs of poop, flea prevention is in order. If you find an area that hurts him, you should take him to a veterinarian for an exam.

I'm wondering if your cat is neutered or not. If he isn't neutered, he could be wanting to go out to mate with females, and he could be marking his territory by peeing on the wall. If he isn't neutered, I would take him into the vet to have that done. Should he be neutered, he could have an UTI causing him to urinate right where he is, and it would make him uncomfortable, causing him to meow loudly. This would also require a trip to the vet, and I would bring him into one as soon as possible.

I am sorry to hear about Cassiel. Some of these symptoms could definitely be related to him being unneutered and reaching sexual maturity (increased aggression, yowling, increased hunger).
