Found stray kitten sick with nosebleed, tick. Vets closed. What to do?

I just found a stray kitten its has what looks like a cold and giant tick that just popped on its own and a small nose bleed I called vets near me but they are all closed

That's very kind of you to take in this stray kitten! The bloody nose could be due to the cold, especially if she has been sneezing a lot. I would keep her warm tonight, and keep her indoors. If she's very congested, she may have trouble smelling food, so I would gently warm some really smelly wet food such as sardine or fish based to try to tempt her to eat. I would take her into the vet in the morning. The vet can do a physical exam, routine blood tests, and a urinalysis to check how her organs are functioning and her current health status. I would recommend getting her vaccines if the vet feels she is healthy enough to receive them, and should also be flea treated, given heartworm medication, and dewormed. She's lucky to have you looking after her :-)

The only way would be to take her to a vet and have her scanned for a microchip which then could be traced and then one may be able to find the owners and ask them. I would not rely on that and take her to a vet for an exam, and have her vaccinated properly. The fact that she is starting to look better after regular feeding is a good sign. She may need to be wormed also and treated for fleas. Congratulations! You have a kitty now. It picked you! Thank you for taking care of her.

Poor kitten! You're right that stray kittens can have a number of different illnesses or health issues, including fleas, intestinal parasites, upper respiratory infections, and even more serious problems such as feline leukemia or FIV in some cases. It would be best to take the kitten to a vet for an exam as soon as you are able to - he/she can check her stool for parasites, start her on medication to treat the fleas, and test her for other possible illnesses if needed.

Poor Chance. It sounds like you are doing an amazing job with him. The blood from the nose and eyes could be from severe irritation of the mucous membranes or due to a viral infection. Since he is alert and interactive I would keep doing what you are doing. I would be syringe feeding him some food every 3-4 hours. You can also hold him in a small bathroom with the hot shower going so he can breathe in the steam. This will help to loosen up the mucus and also help to moisturize his mucous membranes. There is no need to get him wet or near the water. Just hold him since steam rises. Also, if you have a humidifier, you can run that at night while he sleeps. No need to put any medicine in it - just water. If the bleeding continues, I would have your vet recheck him to ensure he doesn’t need any additional meds or his current meds changes. I hope this helps and he continues to improve.

Found a kitten with diarrhea, runny nose, heavy breathing. Home care?

It sounds like she has an upper respiratory infection causing the congestion. Since she is breathing heavy and is so young, it would be a good idea to have a vet examine her to determine if treatment is needed. She may need an antibiotic to help treat. The diarrhea could be caused by a parasite and your vet could test a stool sample to determine the cause. There isn't really much you can do at home besides supportive care with food, water, and keeping her warm. You could also put a humidifier in a room with her or place her in the bathroom while you shower so the steam can help clear her nasal passages.

Stray cat has a burst neck wound, bleeding, and is very sick?

It looks like this little girl has a bite wound. I would recommend trapping the cat and bringing it to a shelter if one is available. I would be cautious about touching her just in case the animal that bit her had rabies. She need veterinary care, this is not something you can take care of at home. My kitten's nose is bleeding after a dog attack. Is it an emergency?

Ideally, the kitten should be physically examined by a veterinarian to diagnose any other injuries. If it is a minor bleed, it should stop with some gentle pressure. If there is internal injury, that can be addressed by the veterinarian after the exam. Monitor for lethargy, ataxia (wobbly gait), difficulty breathing, pale gums, uneven pupils or bleeding from the ears or anywhere else.
