Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | 6 lbs
My rescue cat is over 12 years old. He had seizures from last year but now they are every other week. Can you give me any advice please? He is a bengal car, has been in the family 9 years.

The best thing you can do for Spike at this time is to have him examined by your veterinarian. There may be an underlying issue that caused the seizures that you can easily prevent.
Your vet will most likely want to perform lab work to rule out several common diseases of older cats such as diabetes, kidney failure, and hyperthyroidism. Your vet may also recommend an anti-seizure medication to prevent any further seizure activity.
I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
