Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Muffy! Royal Canine is a great food but it doesn't mean it is perfect for every pet! Hill's Science Diet and Purina are also good food. I would try a sensitive stomach formula in Royal Canin first then switch brands. Be sure to keep in mind that a food allergy is just once cause of vomiting. Other causes are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, hair balls, foreign body, dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis, toxin ingestion or inflammatory bowel disease. Do not combine foods, this causes GI upset. Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams. I recommend these foods because they run their own feeding trials, meet AAFCO standards, and have veterinary nutritionists on staff. They are the only four brands to do this. I think an indoor cat formula would be best for Storm. As for water, get a pet water fountain. It provides a constant source of fresh water, and encourages cats to drink. I have one for my cats, and they love it. Don't change litter if he has one he likes. Cats are very picky about litter, and a change in litter can lead to them not using their box.

Hello, if you could recall the protein source or flavor of the food they really liked and had little to no digestive issues, then I would try something similar to that. Certain cats can have reactions to different kind of proteins and ingredients, so offering a novel protein (fish, duck, venison, lamb), limited ingredient (sweet potato, peas) diet is likely the best way to approach her GI issues. Royal Canin is a high quality food brand and either formula would be absolutely fine. If Lazgah develops vomiting, diarrhea, or excessive hairballs on one formula, transition him to the other one. Any time you make a change in diet, be sure to do so gradually over 5-7 days. I don't think you can make a wrong choice with either food!
