What product promotes healthy fur growth for my Persian cat's coat?

Cube is adorable. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian to have him evaluated. He still has kitten fur so his full adult fur has not come in yet, but making sure he is healthy is very important in keeping a beautiful clean, full coat. Calcium syrup is not good to give cats, too much calcium causes medical issues. You need to have Oreo seen by a vet to diagnose the cause of her hair loss (i.e. fleas, mites, allergies, ringworm, etc) so she can be treated correctly. As for diet, I'd feed her a high quality cat food. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams.

Hmmm. Not sure the train of thought your vet was on. I commonly recommend fish oils, any fish oil supplement will work. There is no specific amount, though the biggest side effect is greasy stools. If you notice that, then you decrease the dose. It can take several months for you to see a change after starting fish oils. You can find a pet product at a pet store, or just use one from the human supplements section of a pharmacy or other store.

A good, balanced diet is a great base for a good coat. Daily brushing and grooming can also help keep the coat shinier and fuller. You can also add in a supplement such as vitamin E and fish oils which can help improve coat health as well. Keeping the coat clean with regular baths or using pet/baby wipes can also help keep it full and shiny.

If she is on a high quality, balanced diet I would be cautious about over supplementing her as this can lead to dietary excesses (especially with cod liver oil type supplements as they can be high in certain vitamins also). Plant based supplements such as viacutan may also be an option but 3-5 days a week is likely sufficient

Cat don't really like baths so I can suggest these things: 1. Use a [waterless shampoo](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/tropiclean-waterless-cat-shampoo-deep-cleaning) product instead of traditional bathing. 3. Daily brushing.
