My neutered cat has a stitch sticking out and scabs. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 6 lbs

my cat was neutered a month ago and the vet used dissolvable stitches, there is a stitch still sticking out that he bites at and there is also round scabs caked around where his stitches are. what should i do?

A check up would be needed to remove the stitch (which may be an internal one) and allow adequate healing. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any licking/chewing.
