My kitten isn't moving after vet treatment. Is this an emergency?

Poor kitty! Your pet sounds like he needs to be hospitalized and properly diagnosed to find out the underlying cause of his illness. They will likely need to run some tests (bloodwork, x-rays, etc) in order to diagnose what's wrong. Whether that be an internal musculoskeletal injury, heart condition, stroke, etc. I am not sure what injections your pet was given, but it definitely doesn't seem like it is enough treatment for your very ill pet. He is in critical condition so I would advise to making him in right away! Best of luck with your kitty.

Not going to the bathroom, lack of appetite and laying in one spot can be a sign of a blockage in the urethra or intestines. Without knowing more, I think it's best if you do take her for an evaluation by a vet ASAP, because this could be a serious problem. They will narrow-down the problem and at-least give treatment to make her feel better. It's difficult to say whether he needs emergency treatment without fully knowing his current condition. If he is still eating and drinking normally, then this would be an encouraging sign. It would also be good to know if he is still walking/running around occasionally. If this is the case, then I wouldn't consider this an emergency, but would recommend you take him to the vet tomorrow during business hours. If Drake is not eating and drinking, then I would be concerned of a more severe disease and would recommend taking him to the emergency clinic. The staring into space could indicate a few different things. It could indicate that he has a fever from an infection, a metabolic disorder, or a primary disorder in the brain. It could also be completely innocent, so I wouldn't worry too much until a vet does a good evaluation of him and comes up with some more answers. I hope that helps and Drake gets better soon.

These are signs of possible intoxication. A ER vet should be seek and found as soon as possible to give appropriate treatment. IV fluids gastric decontamination and medication to decrease gastrointestinal absorption are required.

This is an emergency. Your kitten needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away. Please do not wait for this to come right without treatment, especially since the weekend looms. Goldy may have just gotten a scare, however it is better to be safe than sorry and have Goldy examined by a vet.

This is not normal kitten behavior and i recommend an emergency vet check to distinguish the source of his weakness and to start appropriate treatment. The signs are too vague to guess without a full physical exam

I am sorry to hear your kitty did not make it. I am unsure as to what the problem was but it may have been that he was not getting better from the treatments that were given and he just continued to worsen despite treatment. Hard to say since I was unable to examine him and see him in person. He may have eaten something that caused an intestinal obstruction and he may also have had a bad infection somewhere.
