You need to take your cat into a vet now for treatment. You cannot give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. Not eating is extremely serious, as it will lead to a fatty liver if he goes long enough without food. A fatty liver is fatal without treatment. Please bring him into a vet immediately.

No, it's not ok that Tota has teeth missing, and he sounds painful if he's having trouble opening and closing his mouth. He may have a broken tooth or tooth root abscess causing his pain. There are no medications you can give him at home, he needs to see a vet. Please do not give Tota any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Tmii! I think you need to have a Vet come to you or take him to one as soon as possible. Tmii looks critically ill and needs aggressive supportive care. I do not think any at home care will pull him through this unfortunately. Can you call the Vet again and see if he/she can recommend someone to examine Tmii? All you can do is keep him warm, syringe water and canned food slurries gently and give the recommended medications. I wish you and Tmii the best!

Before you start any medications Snaggles needs to have an exam by a Vet. He could have severe stomatitis or another tooth that needs to be extracted. Antibiotics and pain medications are temporary band-aids for both conditions. Without examining Snaggles, it is against the law for us to prescribe medications. We need a valid Veterinary Client Patient Relationship that requires us to be able to physically touch your pet. Since Snaggles was just seen by your Vet in June I would try calling them and asking if those medications are appropriate for him.
