Could my cat be a rare Khao Manee? How to identify its true breed?

What a beautiful cat! Judging by her coat color and quality she very well could be a Turkish Angora, however there is no way to know for sure. Cute cat! It would be hard to tell just by looks what breed she is, however I see some possible oriental background with the longer face, perhaps mixed with a domestic shorthair. The best way to find out breed is through a genetic breed test, which usually only requires a cheek swab that is then sent to a lab. It might be worth doing if you're curious about her breed!

I don't think we can verify the genetics of any cat without a genetic test, but this kitten it is tough to tell from the photos if he has the appearance of a persian cat, which normally have a flattened appearance to the face. But we cannot see a side-view here, so it is tough to say. If his face is flattened, the appearance is mild (but there can be variations within the breed). Hello. The best anyone can do is call your cat a Domestic Shorthair. Perhaps in the future, we will have the ability to distinguish breeds through DNA , like we can do with dogs now. But, the entire cat genome for every breed has not been established yet. The best way to tell what breed your cat is would be to do a DNA test. Unless you got the cat from a breeder, in which case you would know the breed, the cat is most likely a mixed breed.
