Are flea bombs safe for my home and pets? What's the best way?

There is an over the counter dewormer for tapeworms called Bayer Tapeworm dewormer. It's also generally safe and has rare adverse reactions. Puppies and kittens need a series of repeated deworming medications. And even if they have been dewormed, it is common for them to have other intestinal parasites since there are so many different types of parasites and they each require a specific type of deworming. What you are describing is likely tapeworms, so hopefully the tapeworm medication will work. Unless your vet gave you specific instructions, the dewormers are different medications and do not interact, so they can be given at the same time. The only reason to separate the dewormers would be if there is a large worm infestation and the deworming is likely to cause diarrhea. To be on the safe side, you could wait 2 days after the roundworm medication to give the tapeworm medication. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! For 24-48 hours after her vaccines, she may be tired or sore in the area where the vaccines were given. If you notice shes lethargic, vomiting, or having diarrhea, I would contact the vet that gave the vaccines. The dewormer will kill any intestinal parasites she may have. You may see worms pass in her feces. This is normal. You and your family can be around her. I would recommend cleaning up her stools right away, and washing your hands before eating. Kisses to Lucy!
