My fixed male cat won't leave unfixed female. Is she in heat?

Cats will tend to have a recurring heat cycle until they are bred, so if she isn't yet pregnant, she is likely to continue to have interest in the male, and the male in her. It is simply a product of being in heat that she will make these poses. She does not need to be mated. It is very likely considering​ her contact with the male cat that she will become pregnant, you should prepare for this.
