My indoor cat is lost for 7 days. How can I find my scared cat?

I'm sorry to hear your can't find your kitty! This would be stressing me out too! If you are able to hear her but and she sounds like she might be in some trouble, I would be looking in some really small places that she might have been able to get in but not necessarily get out of. I would be looking in any place that she might have been able to get behind a wall or into a ceiling. Otherwise, if you think she might just be hiding somewhere that she doesn't want you to find her, starting leaving out some stuff that she would normally come running for on any other normal day. I would contact veterinary clinics and bring the missing posters to veterinary clinics as well so that you can make it known to the many pet owners that frequent the clinics in the area. This may help you find your kitten. Unfortunately, it is also possible that someone found your kitten and thinks it is a stray and may keep it. I am sorry that you have lost your kitten and hope that you find it soon!

You can try putting out food and your cat's litter box. This will sometimes entice them to come home. I would also check with your neighbors to see if they have your cat or have seen him. Once you find him he may need to go to the vet to be checked out since he has been attacked and since he was gone from home for so long. Good luck.

She is probably just wandering around. However there are dogs out there, cars and possibly wild animals that can harm her. keep calling her. Hopefully she will come home soon. She is probably hiding somewhere and scared.

I am sorry Orion has gone missing. It appears you've done quite a bit already. I would recommend contacting local veterinary clinics and maybe posting a flyer with a picture of Orion. If he is microchipped, contact the company to notify them. In the event that he is in the area, get some dry food and pour it into an aluminum pie tin while outside. Gently rattle it while calling his name. If he hears, he may come running. Ask neighbors on your street and neighboring streets to keep an eye out for him. I hope you find him or someone returns him soon.

I hope Midnight comes back, but there is a chance she might now. Search the neighborhood and ask your neighbors if they have seen her. Check with the local SPCA to see if she's been picked up, and check with local vet clinics as well.

Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Cats, with a bit of work, can be taught to walk on a leash ( harness ). The best would be never to let your cat outdoors as this increases the chances of run ins with cars, dogs & other cats. But once a cat is comfortable in a home, they very rarely leave, unless something happens. Make sure Luna is spayed, & consider placing a microchip in her. That way, if she does slip off, any veterinarian or shelter can scan her & get her back home to you quickly. Hope this helps. Take care.
