My cat got her claw caught in her kennel and broke the last bone in her toe trying to get free. She's now in a splint with a bell collar on, but she's originally feral, and is still on the wild side in behavior, and it seems like 6 more weeks of this is not going to work very well for either of us. My question is since they remove that part of the bone when they remove a claw anyway, would it be an option to have that broken piece (with claw attached) just removed, for a quicker recovery?
