My cat came inside my house, after escaping outside through the window, with a broken front leg. I'm not sure how this happened. Maybe he got hit by a car or in a fight with another cat. I took him to the veterinarian and suggested I amputate his front leg due to how the broken bone looked. I don't want to do that to him. They didn't even take x-rays. Should I take him to another vet or proceed with the amputation? It's been three days since this accident happened.
