My dog is throwing up clear foamy liquid and won't eat. What's wrong?

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check her hydration status and give her medications to make her feel better. Good luck!

I am concerned that he has vomited so many times. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian. He could have eaten something that upset his stomach, have a foreign body obstruction or could have a case of pancreatitis. Your veterinarian can perform radiographs/blood work to rule in or out these issues. They also can give medication to help with the vomiting. Poor Handsome! The shivering could be from pain or fever. He does sound like he is quite ill. If he is continually throwing up, I'd be concerned that he has a severe GI illness, pancreatitis, or a foreign body. I'm not sure of his vaccination status, but if he isn't vaccinated, parvovirus could be causing this as well. I recommend taking him into your vet now because he sounds so ill. Your vet can give him a shot to help him stop vomiting, and can diagnose what is causing his symptoms. Your vet can also start treatment to help him feel better. I understand being scared and sad, it's awful to see your pet sick. Taking him to your vet will help you be less scared and sad, as you will be getting help for him.

I am concerned that he could be showing signs of an obstruction which is something that requires therapy which sometimes includes surgery. I recommend that you have Jager evaluated by a veterinarian at this point for further assessment and treatment. This will likely require bloodwork and abdominal imaging in terms of diagnostics. Treatment would be based on findings. At the very least your veterinarian could start him on medications to make him feel better. It sounds as Bub is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

If Odin vomited up foreign material and is continuing to vomit, I would strongly suggest getting him in to be seen by a veterinarian sooner rather than later. If there is something causing an obstruction somewhere, this can lead to further serious problems that can be life threatening if not addressed right away.
