My dog hurt his paw, limping, hiding, not eating. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 4 lbs

He hurt his paw outside 6 days now he is hiding more still limping and not eating and drinking normally and he seems like he is in pain when he's picked up what do I do please

Poor Jinx! I can't see anything obvious wrong with his paw in the photo, but it certainly sounds like something isn't right from the way he is acting. He may have broken a bone in his paw, or stepped on something sharp and caused in infection. I would recommend taking him to the vet for an exam as soon as you are able to. He/she can palpate his paw and may recommend x-rays or other testing to help diagnose the problem. It sounds like he will need pain medication as well as possibly antibiotics or other meds depending on what is found.
