Why are both my cats vomiting and not eating? Can they get sick?

It is not likely your cat(s) "caught" a stomach bug from you. It is more likely the outdoor cat was exposed to an illness which he brought back. Ideally, you should have them examined by your veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury. Supportive care, such as IV or subcutaneous fluids, anti emetics and antibiotics, may be indicated. If this isn't possible, try a 24 hour fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards. If It doesn't help, you'll definitely need to see your veterinarian.

Fighting can result in wounds which can become infected causing the symptoms reported. Ideally, the two cats that haven't eaten should be examined by your veterinarian. Cats that do not eat for 2+ days are at risk for developing serious liver related complications. As you mentioned, their vomiting could be caused by eating raw turkey, but could also be due to a virus or intestinal parasites. If you switched their diets recently without mixing the new/old food graduallly, it could be that. Or, they may both have worm infections. Or, they both got into the same thing like eating trash, or stealing human food, etc. If there is no more vomiting, I wouldn't worry. I am sorry to hear this! Yes, it is possible he picked up something from the new kitten even if she was asymptomatic. Any pet vomiting beyond 24 hours should be examined by the veterinarian. Just like humans, there are many many causes of vomiting and some of the causes can be very serious.
