My cat's wound from a fight is getting bigger and losing hair. Help!

Hello, my cat was scratched by my other cat right under the cheek, the wound was healing, but he started to scratch it, so it became bigger. No bleeding, but he is loosing hair where he keeps scratching. What can I do?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Boris. It is best to have him seen by a veterinarian. Cat scratches and bites commonly become infected. If so, antibiotics may be required. In the meantime, place an E-collar or cat suit on him to prevent any further self trauma. I hope this information helps!
