I took my cat Stevie to the vet for shallow breathing and to get flea prevention. The vet noticed a large amount of tapeworm segments & treated her for worms. He also said she was anemic as a result of the worms and gave her a B12 shot. Her gums and nose started to pink up again hours later but now they are both white again. I can’t afford to take her back to the vet until next week. Will this resolve on its own as the worms die? Is it normal for it to take a while? Is there anything I can do?
