My cat is suddenly vomiting, has diarrhea, and rapid breathing. Why?

Poor kitty. This kitty could have an infection (viral or bacterial) or intestinal parasites. She should be dewormed (i.e. fenbendazole), fecal testing, examined by your vet, and then treated based on what is found. The wheezing indicates that an upper respiratory infections is most likely present as well, in which oral antibiotics are needed to clear. You can give Kiwi Lysine supplements (from your local pet store) to help boost her immune system and fight off viral infections; use a humidifier or place her in a bathroom with the hot water running to help clear up clogged nasal passages; and feed her high quality kitten food (Royal Canin, Wellness, Blue Buffalo, etc) for overall health.

It sounds as Sia is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

BowBow sounds extremely sick, and it's a medical emergency that she is refusing water and food. It may be she has a pyometra, which is an infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. It could also be she got into something toxic. This cannot be treated at home, she has to see a vet now. I see that she isn't spayed, and her symptoms could also be caused a pyometra, which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. When a cat is having both diarrhea and vomiting, it's time to see a vet immediately to prevent her from getting severely dehydrated and sicker. Vomiting and inappetence are concerning symptoms as they could occur with things like a gastrointestinal obstruction, pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, among many other possibilities. The fact that he is also breathing fast is also concerning. I recommend that you have Pedrito evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

It sound slike Kela has a lot going on. I would recommend taking her to a vet due to the range of her current issues. If she is vomiting and having diarrhea she could become dehydrated. I would recommend having her examined to make sure she does not have an infection, virus or even parasites. I hope she feels better soon

I am sorry Wally is not feeling well I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian as soon as possible. It is very concerning that Wally is having labored breathing. Infection, viruses, gastric upset parasites and more can cause these signs and he really needs some testing to determine why and proper management. I hope he feels better soon!
