My 9-month-old cat is vomiting bile and not eating. Should I worry?

Hi my cat is male, about 9 months old. He has been vomiting bile around 8 times today. Also not eating but is drinking water

I'm sorry to hear that Louie isn't feeling well! Profuse vomiting and a loss of appetite in a young cat are most suspicious for either a foreign body intestinal obstruction, parasites or virus. Due to the likelihood of dehydration with this much vomiting and possible obstruction, I recommend taking Louie to his vet fairly urgently for evaluation. He will likely need abdominal x-rays and may need IV fluids or surgery if foreign material is suspected in his intestines. I hope that all goes well!
