My cat is upset and ignoring me after his vet visit. Is he mad?

I would be sure your kitty has a safe area at home where he feels like he can hide/get away if wanted and he can easily access his food/water/ and litterbox for the next few days. Yes, he will get back to normal. Try to get him to play with you. Offer him treats. Pick up his food and feed him the first few kibbles by hand. Don't force Chimpu to be around you otherwise and he will come around quickly. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.

It sounds like poor Pook has been through a lot lately! Give him time, he will trust you again. Leave out his favorite treats near where you are sitting, and he will come to get them. When he lets you pet him, praise him and give him more treats. He should settle down eventually.

He could be just getting use to you but he could also be a little scared since he fell off the table. I would just continue to show him a lot of TLC and positive attention. You should call your veterinarian and ask whether he recommends some pain medication for your cat or whether he wants to see him for a recheck. Sometimes cats can get painful especially at the injection site for a few days. He may not let you touch him because he may be angry at you for taking him to the vet....sometimes that happens too. Let him come to you. Pet him lightly when you feed him.
