Hello, my 4month old cat got a rabies vaccine this morning at 8:15am and around 1pm his behavior complety changed, he didn’t want to play, he spent the all afternoon and evening sleeping on our bed and not being with us, usually he follows us everywhere we go, the way he is looking at us is not usual.... He just look very tired with no juice. My husband and I are wondering if this could be a negative aide effect of the vaccin that He got today? Thank you for your help.

Typically, vaccinations will cause drowsiness, soreness in the area where injected, swelling where the vaccine was administered and decreased energy. If there is anything such as facial swelling, hive formation, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, inappetance then I would recommend having Everest examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps!
