My cat threw up and is not acting like himself. Should I be worried?

  Poor Benedict. Given that he is eating a bit, I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

  Poor Valentina. It may be she has some stomach upset or may have eaten something rotten. I can give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food until dinner tonight, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she refuses to eat the bland diet, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.   I am very sorry that Felix is not feeling well. I would start by placing him on a bland diet of boiled chicken breast for a couple of days. Add in a probiotic to restore normal gut function, and consider worming him if he has not been wormed yet.

  Poor Felix. There are several things that can cause vomiting and diarrhea including eating something he shouldn't, parasites, bacterial/viral infection, and much more. You can try to not feed him for 12 hours then reintroduce small amount of plain boiled or canned chicken (in water) to help settles his stomach. If he is not improving or if he gets worse I would see your vet for an exam. Your vet will be able to do a fecal and possible blood work or X-rays if needed. They will be able to give him medicine to help his nausea and loose stool as well. I hope this helps!
