My kittens foot is very swollen and he cannot walk on it. I'm pretty sure on the cause (ingrown nail or puncture from my other cat playing too rough with him) but I don't want him to be in pain during the entire healing process. How can I do that? Can I give him very small amounts of asprin or baby asprin?

You need to take him to the vet ASAP, he is probably suffering from a serious abscess which is causing the swelling and the pain, he will probably need it to be lanced and drain, he will also need a course of antibiotics.
