Our cat has swollen leg paw. Not sure what happened. Can we give her anything to see if swelling will go down before taking her to vet?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You can try soaking Sheeba’s foot in a warm epsom salt bath for 10-15 minutes 2-3 times per day. That may help draw out some of the infection. Make sure to rinse it well after and dry thoroughly. If it’s not looking better on 2-3 days I would recommend taking her to a vet for a closer look and possibly oral medications. Good luck and kisses to Sheeba!
