Hello. This could be a behavioral issue, or a behavioral issue plus paronychia ( skin infection around the nail/claws ). Even though you do not see anything unusual, a veterinarian can examine the skin, do a skin impression to see if there is a population of bacteria or yeast organisms present around the nail beds. An appropriate treatment can then be started. Often, this could also be an indication, & the only evidence of, an allergy. Allergies can come from the food or the environment & can be challenging to distinguish in cats with mild symptoms. So it is very helpful to get professional help with this. If she won't let you trim them, you will need to take her to a vet and have them do it. They can give her some sedation, if needed, to make it easier for them to trim the nails.

It sounds like you have a lot of things going on with Cecile. Cats can have aggression for many different reasons, with territorial or fear based aggression being the top two, but many other common causes. It can be hard to figure out what the cause is and even harder to start to reduce the aggression. Without having more information, I would recommend two things: - Pay a lot of attention to when the aggression happens and work on avoiding any triggers you can identify. - Talk with your vet about anti-anxiety medication to see if that helps with all of his issues. If you have access to a veterinary behaviorist, I would definitely recommend a consultation, but i don't know of the availability in Indonesia.

You need to start very slowly by touching the dogs limbs and giving treats when they don't react. You do this about 50-100 times then you move to the toes. Repeat the above. After she is used to that touch, you touch her toes with nail clippers and treat. Basically you are getting her used to the touch and tools before even getting to the nails. She needs to be relaxed the entire time. If at any time she becomes aggressive, you stop what you are doing and try again with the previous step when she's relaxed. This can take months. In the meantime, I would talk to your vet about sedatives so you can clip Chloes nails in a non-stressful manner. If you try when she's stressed it is going to make training her even more difficult. The first thing I would do for now is put Attila in a room by herself with a litter box, food and water bowls, comfortable resting places, etc. and leave her alone for the next few days apart from coming in briefly to refill her food and water and change her litter. When cats become upset and aggressive like this, for whatever reason, it can take up to a week for them to fully calm down and return to normal - until then, it's best to leave her completely alone and give her plenty of space. Some cats can have serious aggression issues that are triggered by a strange or scary noise, an unusual smell, or anything else that startles them. It's possible that Attila may have had a scary dream that frightened her, or she could be painful due to a pinched nerve, arthritis, or some other issue that may have been aggravated by petting. If she calms down over the next few days and things return to normal with no further problems, you may not need to do anything else. If she is still acting aggressive a week from now, or if this becomes a recurring problem for her in the future, I would strongly recommend making an appointment with a veterinary behaviorist - he/she can evaluate Attila in person and help you determine what may be triggering these episodes, and will also give you some specific suggestions for managing her when this happens. Prescription medication is helpful for some cats with aggression issues, so this is something that could be discussed also. Some dogs and cats actually bite their nails out of stress or habit. If the nails start to bleed or show Hestia signs of discomfort, like lameness, she should be examined by her vet. Consider cutting her nails frequently to see if that deters her self-inflicted damage. If Hestia begins to display other signs of anxiety, such as urinating outside of the litter box or hiding more, talk to her vet about anxiety medications. Otherwise, just continue monitoring her because this may be a habitual behavior for Hestia.
