I tried cutting my cats nails and she was growling and tried to bite me which is unlike her. I have been cutting her nails her whole life and never had a problem. I brought her to the vet to get her paws checked out and nothing was wrong according to the vet. She gave them a hard time which is also unlike her. Could her personality have changed and now she’s going to be grumpy?

You might want to have your vet examine Gabby to make sure that she doesn’t have pain in her toes or other joints since this is a recent change. It could be a behavioral change with no obvious cause - if so you might be able to slowly begin to acclimate her to nail trims again using treats and positive reinforcement.
