Lovely Mars! You cold try with Zylkene (check the website: http://www.zylkenepet.co.uk) but if she refuses to eat is quite difficult to administer without pilling her and increase her distress. Try to offer nice and smelly food, her favorite, to encourage Mars to come out from the create. Create a cosy environment (a small rooms is ideal) where she can feel safe without people getting in and out or strong noises. If the problem persist I would have a chat with a veterinarian expert in behavior that will be happy to provide an home visit. Please post again on the forum for further advices. Renal food should not promote crystal formation and he should do well on this especially the wet version. Be sure to keep with the feliway diffuser and a calming supplement such as kalm aid may also help

If this does not work, then you could always speak with the veterinarian about an anti-anxiety medication short term. I would discuss this issue with your veterinarian. We definitely do not want to stop the Prozac suddenly as he could develop withdrawal symptoms. Other supplements that could help include Zylkene or a prescription cat food like c/d® Multicare Stress Feline. Acupuncture is another alternative method that may help with stress and urinary issues in cats.

If the calming supplements do not seem to do the trick after a while and Fanny is still seeming stressed, then I would talk to Fanny's veterinarian about getting her on anti anxiety medication. There are lots of different medications your veterinarian may recommend. It may take 3-4 weeks to see any differences in her behavior, but this can really help especially if all other efforts have proven to be unsuccessful. Yes, bullying from another cat can definitely cause stress and anxiety. Pheromone products and calming food or supplements such as royal canin calm can be very helpful. Try not to encourage the other cat, ensure there is no food available for him and that he cannot access bedding areas etc
