Cat stressed by loud music, vocal and panting. How to calm her now?

Moving is very stressful for a cat! Yes Moxie should calm down, and I recommend putting her in one room to herself with food, water, and litter box. Make sure there is a place where she can hide in the room as needed, as some cats feel more comfortable hiding when stressed. Leave her there tonight and in the morning, crack open the door to see if she will come out and explore on her own. If the panting continue to the morning, however, she should see a vet immediately. You may want to try bringing some things from home that are familiar to make him more comfortable like a bed or a crate. If he seems more anxious at night you may want to confine him to a dark quiet room. I think pheromone diffusers can be very helpful. I am a little concerned about the panting at night: although some cats will pant when they are extremely anxious it is more often a sign of respiratory distress. If you feel Zorro is having trouble breathing you should see a veterinarian right away.

I'm concerned that she pants when going outside, and that tells me she's really distressed. I do think it's causing her extra stress to go outside, and I would stop it for now. Put a cat tree by a window so she can look outside.
