My cat is sneezing and not drinking water. How can I hydrate him?

I'd feed Cupquake canned food, or add some low sodium gently warmed chicken broth to her dry food. I'd also recommend getting her a pet water fountain. The kitten usually gets better in 7-14 days. If the sneezing gets worse or the nasal discharge becomes cloudy, yellow or green Mika may have developed a secondary bacterial infection. She would then need antibiotics. Canned cat food has a lot of water in it. You can add water to the canned food to increase water intake. I would feed a small amount of wet food twice daily with added water in it. Continue to leave out fresh water and you can try a cat water fountain too. That circulates water and encourages cats to drink more. Most cats will drink what they need daily so I’m not overly concerned about this if he’s acting normal, has a shiny coat, and is a normal weight. Sneezing and clear eye discharge can indicate the beginnings of something, or may be allergy related. Keeping the eyes and nose clear with a clean washcloth may help. If the discharge changes to yellow or green, Pinta becomes congested, or she becomes feverish, lethargic, or stops eating, those are all signs of something more serious such as an upper respiratory infection that requires veterinary care.

Poor Cloud! With the sneezing he could have a simple respiratory infection or he could have something more serious like pneumonia or a viral infection. I would recommend to get him to a vet for an exam, diagnostics, and possible medications to help make him feel better. Since he is so small I would make sure you are continuing to feed him every 2-3 hours and try to get him to a vet soon.
