My cat is sick, sensitive belly, won't eat, tired. What's wrong?

I am sorry Ava is not feeling well. Unfortunately Ava does need to go to a vet if she is not feeling well. A range of issues can cause her behavior from parasites, infection, virus and even trauma/toxins. The only way to determine the cause is to have a good exam and possibly test like blood work. These are very concerning symptoms, and could fit several serious issues, such as GI obstruction, internal bleeding, infection, cancer, etc. I would recommend having Lily examined by a vet. After physical examination, the vet may recommend diagnostics such as blood work or x-rays to determine the best possible treatment.

Cats will often go off their food and be more lethargic when they are coming down with an illness. This is usually due to an upper respiratory infection (aka cat flu) or an infection of the stomach or intestines. While she may not be having nose/eye discharge, or diarrhea right now, you may see this in a day or two. Their are a couple of other diseases that I worry about with a fighting cat, because they can cause them to feel bad like this and be spread through biting. FIV and FeLV are two viral diseases that can depress the immune system and possibly lead to long-term infections. These can be easily tested for by a vet. If she is eating a little, then make sure there is plenty of water mixed in the food, because I worry most about dehydration. Sometimes warming up the food will entice them to eat it, so try that along with trying different, tasty foods. The best thing to do for Alba is to take her to the vet. She may be running a fever and could already be dehydrated. They also may see something else that indicates what her specific aliment is. Possible causes could include pancreatitis, systemic infection, gut parasites, or dental or abdominal pain. If her symptoms are not improving within the next 24 hours, I would recommend taking her to the vet. They can perform a full physical exam, checking for any areas of pain or discomfort, and check for fever and dehydration. They may recommend bloodwork and viral testing to pinpoint a diagnosis. At minimum, they can help rehydrate her if she is dehydrated, and offer medications to improve her appetite and comfort while searching for a diagnosis. In the meantime, offer her some other wet and dry food options in case she has just become picky with her food, and monitor her for any vomiting or diarrhea. I would continue to monitor Cleo and maybe offer her some tuna and white rice to help settle her stomach. If she goes more than 24 hrs without eating or seems to get worse st any point then it's best to take her to your vet for evaluation and treatment depending on the underlying cause. She could have eaten something that upset her stomach or have an internal illness that is found out through diagnostic testing (bloodwork, radiographs, etc). I'm sorry to hear Friday isn't feeling well. Gas pain can be very uncomfortable and could be what is making her lethargic. There are numerous underlying causes of gas and lethargy in kittens, and an exam can tell us a lot as to what is going on. I would be concerned about possible intestinal parasites, as many kittens are born with worms and need to be given a deworming medication to clear them out. She also could have a viral infection or a bacterial overgrowth of her intestinal tract that is causing the problems. The majority of owners should not be able to feel intestines in their pet, so I am worried that you are feeling something abnormal in her abdomen. Sometimes with inflammation the intestines will feel "ropey" when we palpate them. I think Friday needs to be seen by your vet for some supportive care (deworming, fluids, etc), and to try to figure out what the underlying cause is so she can get back on track.
