Why aren't IV anti-fungals used for faster cat ringworm treatment?

people get IV anti-fungals. Why not cats? Wouldn't they work faster for ringworm.

Cats are typically treated with oral anti-fungal medications for ringworm infections. We don't typically hospitalize cats and treat with IV medications when they have ringworm. The oral medications are very effective. Talk to your vet about the best protocol for your cats.
