Is it safe to give my cat Piriton or Puritan syrup with ethanol?

I know I can give my cat piriton tablets but can I also give puritan syrup? not sure as there are ingredients such as ethanol etc in it

Administering piriton syrup containing ethanol to your cat would not be recommended. Cats are sensitive to ethanol toxicity so any products containing it should be avoided. It is likely the taste of the liquid would make it very difficult to administer to your cat, probably causing drooling and/or foaming at the mouth. Stick with the tablets. They are easier and safer to administer.
