My cat has a pink, bald bump behind her whiskers. Does she need a vet?

I would recommend having your vet examine Mochi to see what is going on. It looks like there is a little hair loss as well. If your other cat scratched her and some of the bacteria from the claw punctured the skin, you may not see any blood, but she may have an abscess under the skin that needs to be treated. Peanut could have an infected whisker follicle or hair follicle near the whisker. If it looks infected, if it's oozing, reddened or swollen, if it seems to bother her in any way, I recommend getting her seen by your vet. Cats do normally have raised whisker pads on their cheeks behind their primary whiskers with one or two whiskers growing from it. If you're concerned, certainly call your vet or get her in to be seen.

It could be an area swollen from her hitting her chin on something or it could be an infection / pimple (acne). This is often a bite wound abscess either starting or in the healing phase. Continue to monitor this area and if it swells up with fluid, it's an abscess and will need to be drained by your veterinarian. Other options are a skin infection like ringworm or mange, or an old healing scab from some kind of wound. Some cats have ear mites and they are so itchy that they scratch their face raw underneath the ear they are trying to reach.

Most likely Charlotte has an abscess on her cheek which is a pocket of puss under the skin. This is most commonly due to a scratch from another cat. You can apply a hot compress to the area to bring in the blood supply to help heal the area. If there is a scab try to remove it so the infection can drain. once the puss is draining continue cleaning the area and try to massage it to remove all the puss. If it won't drain you will need to bring her to your veterinarian to have it cleaned, drained and to get antibiotics for Charlotte to treat the infection. This is chin acne. I would make sure you are feeding Peaches out of stainless steel or ceramic bowls and they are being cleaned daily. Even the water bowl should be cleaned daily or even multiple times a day. I would recommend wiping her chin clean also. Sometimes these cases need antibiotics, so if it doesn't resolve with cleaning everything then I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian. This may be an abscess, a cyst or a tumor. You should have it examined by your veterinarian, as it is not possible to distinguish these by just looking at a photo. An abscess can usually be treated with antibiotics and/or be lanced, and a cyst can be evacuated. To identify a tumor, your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the bump with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether the mass is concerning.
