Cat has a painless pea-sized lump on paw. Is it serious or infection?

That looks like either an abscess or a ruptured tumor. I recommend to have it examined and treated by the veterinarian. The kitty may need antibiotics and a special foot soak. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. Usually this unfortunately cannot be treated at home since we do not know what it is. It appears to be a mass- which could be completely benign (like a wart) or could be something of concern. I would recommend asking your vet to do either an aspiration or an impression smear to see if some cells can be sampled. This would allow you to know what kind of mass Moe has and whether they should pursue further treatment for it. I hope this helps!

It’s difficult to tell for sure what’s going on without examining Timmy myself, but from the appearance of that discharge in the photo I’m concerned Timmy may have an infection in that nail bed. This could happen after trauma, or if he punctured his foot on something sharp. I recommend having Timmy seen by a vet, as he may need a course of antibiotics. It’s also possible he has a mass growing on that toe, but that would be considered less likely at his young age. I hope this helps!

This is most of the time differentiated with a test called a fine needle aspirate which is easy, cheap and pain-free. Sometimes, a biopsy is required for a diagnosis. Have Bumble bee evaluated by your veterinarian to have this test performed to try to sort out what the diagnosis is so that the best course of action can be determined. They could evaluate his nails as well which he could potentially have an infection going on. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is something benign!
