My cat has orange diarrhea but acts normal. Do I need an ER vet?

I would recommend you take your cat to the vet on Monday. They can do a fecal examination to rule out intestinal parasites and possibly an X-ray to rule out a blockage/foreign body. Your vet can also give you some medication to help stop the diarrhea. If the diarrhea becomes bloody and/or your cat starts vomiting as well then I would recommend getting him in to an ER vet to make sure nothing too serious is going on.

You can wait until 4 pm today since she is acting normal. If that changes or something else occurs before then, then I would recommend going to the veterinarian earlier. At his age either may be from a viral infection. The diarrhea can be change in food, stress or parasites based on what he has been treated for prior. If he is not vomiting and still has an appetite then you don’t need to see an Er at this point. However if you notice these changes or bloody diarrhea then I would get him seen sooner

Sometimes even a simple diet switch from one food to another is enough to cause intestinal inflammation or bacterial imbalance and diarrhea in cats. Though his risk is low, it's also possible he could have an intestinal parasite (cannot be ruled out without a fecal test). You can try adding one tbsp of canned pumpkin to his diet for fiber. If he does not improve soon, it would be best to take him to a vet. Sometimes a short course of medication is necessary to resolve this type of diarrhea.

That's a good question. If she continues to eat and drink with no signs of vomiting, acting lethargic or very tired, then you can likely wait until Monday. If you see signs of blood in the stool or she starts straining defecate without passing any stool, then I would take her to an emergency veterinarian.

Usually a probiotic would help diarrhea, however some probiotics and digestive enzyme supplements are more like treats with a lot of other ingredients that might cause stomach upset. As long as Kitty is eating and drinking normally with no vomiting I think it’s okay to wait 1-2 days for it to resolve. If the diarrhea is very frequent or watery or has blood present you should see your vet right away. It should be fine to try pumpkin now, but sometimes excess fiber makes diarrhea worse so I would stop after two tries if you don’t see improvement. And even though it isn’t pleasant to think about, cats lick their own feces all the time when they’re grooming. Nothing to worry about!

I don't think this require an emergency visit but i would definitely recommend making a sooner apointment for you vet, preferably before the weekend as this sound like a gastrointestinal condition that will require treatment, possibly a course of antibiotics and a change of food.
