Why is my cat not meowing normally and vomiting after eating?

It could be Blackie has a respiratory infection affecting her ability to meow. If she's congested, she won't eat as much. Cats like to smell their food, and if they can't smell it, they won't eat. Have her seen by a vet today. Best of luck.

The are many causes of vomiting in cats, but what worries me is that she seems painful based on your description. In the meantime, offer her small amounts of water so that she does not become dehydrated. Rest her stomach for several hours and then offer her a few bites of food to see if she will keep it down.
