Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | 11 lbs
Hi, My name is Ibtisam Ali. I have a Persian cat probably 2 years of age. He seems to be lethargic and lost his appetite for past 2 days. I found him sleeping with his tongue out today & he sleeps a lot. I'm worried if these are some symptoms of a disease. Can you help me please?

I am sorry miming is not feeling well. Unfortunately based on the information above I cannot really tell you what is going on with Miming. I would recommend a pet coach consult so you can provide more information and get more detailed answer. An outdoor cat can get abscesses, infection, dental disease, toxins, gastric upset and other disease. I would recommend taking him to a vet to help determine why he is not acting well and can give you more guidance. Hope he feels better soon

From your description, he's not eating and maybe a little agitated, but otherwise normal. That is a very general clinical sign and could be caused by almost anything. I wouldn't panic at this point, but would schedule a vet visit if he's reluctance to eat goes on for more than 24 hours or he's otherwise ill (lethargic, vomiting, diarrhea, etc)

Hello. Your poor FaFa is definitely unwell. Without some diagnostics like blood tests or x-rays, it is impossible to narrow down the causes. He definitely needs to see a vet to find out what may be going on & find the correct treatment to get him well soon. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
