How many milligrams did you give?

Cats can have Loratidine. The recommended dose is 5mg once a day.

Side effects are rare with this medication but they can happen. Side effects may include:

* hyperactivity
* depression/lethargy
* elevated heart rate
* dry eyes
* dry mouth
* vomiting
* diarrhea
* not eating
* facial swelling
* difficulty breathing
* rash
* itching

If your cat has underlying kidney or liver disease that can make side effects worse. If this behavior lasts longer than 24 hours he needs to see a vet.

In the future you should consult with your vet before giving any medications to your cat.
