My cat has an infection. Is Kiskin safe? How do I help her heal?

Cat had some weird infection and applied kiskin

Poor Coco! The main thing is to make sure she isn't messing with it (i.e. chewing, scratching or licking). I would put a cone collar on her or a baby t-shirt to help prevent this. It will never heal if she doesn't stop messing with it. I would also consider some Benadryl to control the itching. See link below for dosing. Finally, I am personally not familiar with that cream and not sure if it is safe for cats so I would call your vet and double check. If it is okay, I think it would be fine to continue that to see if that helps with the infection. If not, I would have your vet take a look at Coco so they can get her started on the proper meds to help her feel better. I hope this helps!
